So far I have used my camera for scuba diving and it has been GREAT! Very good image and sound quality. Even the pics are ok and look good.
The only thing I kinda found hard to learn it was after my first dive, on video mode and with the lock ON, after coming up the camera would not turn off (because of the lock) ….

Although there are many great things about the Flip, as with anything there is always a downfall or two as well. This Flip UltraHD camcorder is even more impressive than the last one. As usual with Flips, it’s the ideal thing for any family hoping to videotape the kids, friends, events, etc. First of all, it’s completely idiot proof: when you get the box, there is absolutely no assembly required. Your first guess about which buttons are the power switch, record button, and USB connector release will be correct; great intuitive design.

For the size and convenience this video pen is amazing. it plugs right into my macbook with no problems and comes right up as an external drive just like my thumb drives do. The movies record into avi format which i had no problem playing with quicktime. Very cool little gadget. instructions suck, translation is unreadable but, its not rocket science to figure this thing out. 3 second hold of the button turns it on into standby (yellow light) short clicks turn video record mode on and off (blue light when recording), Ta Da.

Excellent Product! I was very superstitious about buying one of these by checking out all the bad reviews from this pen and others like it.

I had absolutely no problems.
Other Thoughts:
Would not notice it was a camera for sure. pen writes great! lol
Figuring out the buttons was a sinch.
Instructions are as easy and it comes ( People must be stupid.. )
Stunning video for the size. Common its in a pen..
Audio is descent.
The light, is not THAT noticeable. Hardly bright at all. . Plus it faces the opposite side so no-one will see it anyways.. It cant record in the dark so don’t worry about anyone seeing it.

Camera is small and discrete. It works great and the picture and sound is acceptable. The downside is that the camera eats up 9V batteries when you use wirelessly and the camera and receiver cannot be too far apart or you will lose the signal.
